Practice Honesty, whenever possible, wherever possible.

Honesty is a facet of moral character that connotes positive and virtuous attributes such as integrity, truthfulness, straightforwardness, including straightforwardness of conduct, along with the absence of lying, cheating, theft, etc. Honesty also involves being trustworthy, loyal, fair, and sincere.
Being honest is tough.
It has been always tough but life was simple those days. The needs were humble.
People did not need to be corrupt or dishonest to live a simple life.
Politics or management or businesses were responsibility of a few people and they were the stake holders in the administration and development of the state and the population.
The common man had only to be loyal to the state and its administration.
And the corruption and dishonesty was a very no-no character. The punishment to wrong doers among the common man was severe.
Now life is complex. People are more intelligent and educated.
Generally, there is no royal class.
Disparity and discrimination among the classes have been officially and theoretically erased.
People are aware and conscious of the equality provided by the law. And they try to be equal AT ANY COST.
The person at the lowest level of economical and social pyramid knows that he is a unit of the state.
In reality, the class- the master and the servants- stays in the social system.
This starts conflicts and fights. Some fights to maintain the status quo. Some fights to break the shackles.
Honesty becomes the most neglected part of human character. Everyone defines the honesty according to their understanding, needs and ease.
The core of honesty is very brittle. It can't be modified, altered or adjusted . Then it is not honesty.
Don't try to be honest. Be practical.
Yet Practice Honesty, whenever possible, wherever possible.
